  I love traveling. I enjoy discovering and learning about what the world has to offer outside of my norm. I also like learning about the different cultures and traditions of others, and trying new restaurants and foods. The gastronomy of all cultural backgrounds interests me.

• Something No One Would Guess By Looking At Me:

  When I was a kid, I would visit my grandparents in San Luis Potosi, Mexico and help them take care of cattle and grow crops at their farm.

  I like all types of music. Banda, Regional Mexicano, Cumbia, Bachata, Reggaeton, Dembow, Hip Hop, Afrobeats, Pop, Electronic dance, Top 40, to the 70s, 80s, Rock en Espanol, and Classic Rock.

• My Relationship with Music:

  I grew up in the “Sonidero” entertainment in Mexico City where I lived throughout my childhood. The Sonidero entertainment are big street dances where Dj’s bring huge sound and lighting productions. At those events people dance cumbia, salsa, and Dj’s introduce people to new music. My dad became a Sonidero in Minnesota which is how I developed my interest in the Dj/entertainment industry. As I grew up, I started to become interested in electronic dance music festivals. They are very similar to the Sonidero events. Today I enjoy learning about sound and lighting production, and more than anything, the art of mixing and creating new music.

• Favorite Part About Being a DJ:

  Making a good playlist with songs that come together to make people dance is a rewarding feeling. I love seeing people enjoying the music, happy, and dancing.
