John P. Murzyn Hall sits in Huset Park and is an excellent venue for weddings, and it’s budget friendly to boot. The hall, named after John P. Murzyn a loyal employee for 40 years of The City Of Columbia Heights, was erected in 1939. While it may not look like much from the outside, it’s interior setting has the blank slate of any wedding planner’s dreams.

Inside John P. Murzyn Hall is a vast open space that lends itself well to being dressed up perfectly with your desired decor for your wedding reception. The Hall’s large dance floor will provide even the most flamboyant dancer enough elbow room to break out their best move. The large fireplace is perfect for some impressive decorations and becoming a focal point of the room. The full bar is situated in a separate area and is open for use by any caterer of your choice. The bar area has a beautiful sitting space for guests to sit and chat while sipping on the signature drink created just for your nuptials.

The hall is equipped with table and chairs to accommodate up to 375 guests. Rental fees for this facility includes full use of the kitchen, all of its appliances, and the wet bar much to your choice of caterers delight. Linen napkins, tablecloths, plates, silverware, and stemware are available upon request for an additional charge.

Because Murzyn Hall is also a community center, there is an excellent little park adjacent to the building. Perfect for the little flower girl or ring bearer to blow off some steam. This venue has it all for a budget-friendly wedding site, located in a green space, and accommodating to partygoers big and little.
