North Garden Theater, Located in St. Paul, Minnesota, the North Garden Theater is a creative and inspiring place for a variety of events. The real charm of the North Garden Theater lies in the very history St. Paul nearly lost when the city placed it on the demolition schedule. In 2015, Ryan and Tina North, St. Paul area actors and business people, saved the theater from destruction.
This truly dynamic venue is imbued with history – the original theater was in operation from 1918 through 1960. After its time showing movies, this building served as casket company’s warehouse before it was no longer used.
As many as 200 guests can occupy the North Garden Theater. This space includes a full bar and a chic industrial aesthetic which can be highlighted or muted with the help of the venue’s theatrical lighting complement.
This venue also accommodates corporate events with a full media and projection hookup and wifi access. The North Garden Theater has a list of recommended business partners and vendors and space to serve fully catered meals.
The North Garden Theater provides rehearsal and performance space to theatrical and musical organizations on a weekly basis. Groups may rent dressing rooms, concessions and more – and all rentals come with the option of an on-site coordinator to make any event feel magical and organized.
The North Garden Theater offers $2 parking just a couple of blocks away at Daily Street and James Avenue West (northwest corner). The venue is spacious, boasting 20 foot high ceilings, a space of 2232 square feet, elegant stylistic elements, and the classic spirit of St. Paul.
