Draped in English Ivy over the warm French stucco and high-peaked rooflines, the University Club of Saint Paul looks like something one would see on an old, established, prestigious university. Commissioned by the same architect that built the stunning and iconic Grand Central Station, the University of Saint Paul was intricately designed to highlight beauty and elegance in every detail.

The University Club of Saint Paul offers a plethora of venues for a variety of events. Steeped in old world elegance, but outfitted with innovative and modern technology, the University Club of Saint Paul offers the perfect venue.

Intricately patterned plaster coffered ceilings, elegant dark wood paneling, arched windows and romantic fireplaces are just some of the architectural details that combine for a uniquely beautiful space. The Lobby, with its soaring plaster ceilings, grand columns, beautiful walls and ornate lighting, can comfortably accommodate 400 guests. The Grand Ballroom, painstakingly restored to its 1917 elegance and beauty, is the luxury event venue. With ornately detailed plaster ceilings, dark marble walls, and expansive two-story windows, the Grand Ballroom is grand, indeed. The Grand Ballroom can host 330 guests. The Summit Room, the University Club of Saint Paul’s premier event space, has a warm wood-burning fireplace and splendid views of downtown St. Paul and the Mississippi River. The Summit Room, originally the main dining hall, can comfortably accommodate 150 guests.

For unique, more intimate affairs, the Grand Library evokes cozy sophistication with its book lined walls and gorgeous paneled windows. The Grand Library can accommodate 20 guests, and endless literary discoveries from the exclusive collection of literature. The Terrace Room, also available for smaller gatherings, features a wall of windows and an abundance of natural light.
