Are Unlimited Time Packages All They're Cracked Up to Be?

In the Twin Cities Metro area, Unlimited Time DJ packages have been becoming more widely available with many companies for the past few years. It sounds like a great deal, but what are you actually getting? And what is being skimped on or cut in order to offer such a deal?

There are a lot of expenses for a mobile DJ company: equipment with maintenance and repair, lighting, music libraries, insurance, training, online planner systems, office basics and staff, promotional materials, not to mention paying the DJ. All are legitimate costs that need to be covered-or skimped on.

As few as 4 years ago, DJs that offered Unlimited Time packages were considered amateurs. True professionals respected their time and their craft enough to not give it away like hobbyists. But as hobbyist equipment became more affordable and accessible, the market began to flood and drive down the price...and the quality control.

At Adagio Djay Entertainment we are striving to maintain a high level of quality yet still be within reach to those on a budget.

When you hire a DJ, you are hiring a service, not a commodity. What other services are sold in this manner? Would you trust someone offering a cheap unlimited time massage? (besides from your precious spouse-to-be of course!)

One good question to ask yourself is how much time do you really need? Most events only need 6-7 hours of coverage and those that need more time often have an on-site ceremony as well. Our packages are designed to fit the needs of the majority of events without the fluff of extravagant time allotments that you'll never really make use of. And if you're not in the majority and have special circumstances? Give us a call and tell us about your situation. We're happy to customize any of our packages with Finishing Touches to meet your needs.

If you would like to meet the most experienced, fun, and versatile DJ professionals in the Twin Cities area, call our office at 651.437.3344 and we can arrange a no-obligation consultation.
