Fall in love at first sight and make wedding plans at The Cottage Farmhouse!  Initiated by a love of antiquing, flea markets, and all things natural and beautiful pertaining to barns across the Midwest, the dream baby of Kim Serbus and Bailey Hanson began to take form with a vintage find and purchase of Old English rose china plates.  This investment blossomed into an excellent collection ideal for any elegant place setting.

The original property on which The Cottage Farmhouse sits has been lovingly repurposed into beautiful barns, and accompanying buildings with an enviable 15 acres of gorgeous Minnesota land fit for any dream wedding.  The original character of the property has been maintained by intentional design while making room for additions to heighten the quality and options available for ceremonies and receptions.

A beautiful array of photography options await your flash and zoom throughout the grounds.  Discover your groom or bride-to-be with a “first look” around the corn crib.  Grooms – relax and savor the joy of your special day in the spaciousness of the Granary, complete with original bushel markings from the early 1900s.  For the bride and her matrons and maids, unwind from the rush and bustle of wedding planning on the private deck of The Bridal Cottage that overlooks the tempting fruit orchard.  Sneak in a warm embrace beneath The Pergola, located between the Main Barn and Reception barn.  Don’t forget to capture your special moments in The Wedding Pasture or Silo Alley, a personal favorite of the owners, offering a delightful backdrop for your wedding photos!

Of course, no wedding is complete without the main event!  Bask in the splendor of a barn wedding in The Main Barn, outfitted in elegant rustic charm with crystal chandeliers. You’ll appreciate ample space for your ceremony, reception, or dance afterward within its walls!  The Reception Barn offers additional space perfect for events up to 250 guests.

Outside grounds at The Cottage Farmhouse include generous space for yard games and socializing.  Round off your magnificent day around the fire pit, relishing in all of its splendor and the majesty of the Minnesota countryside.
