The contemporary art throughout Gallery13 immerses visitors in creativity and reflection.  This family-owned art gallery in downtown Minneapolis doubles as a reception venue for weddings, fundraisers, and corporate events.

Gallery13 sits in a terrific downtown Minneapolis location. The art gallery occupies a vast space in the Highland Bank Court Building. Parking is plentiful in an attached parking garage, and the building connects to the skyway.  

Visitors flock to the area for its easy access to the Hennepin Theatre District, restaurants, public art, and shops. Visit the nearby shops and restaurants at Nicollet Mall.

Gallery13 focuses on showcasing contemporary art by local and nationally known artists. The art gallery takes pride in highlighting the work of Twin Cities artists.

The artistic environment makes it a wonderfully creative space for hosting special events. Functions take place in two gallery areas with a total of 6,500 square feet of space.  The main room has about 4,000 square feet of space, and the projects room encompasses another 2,300 square feet.  The rooms are flexible and open to the client’s creativity.

There is a total capacity of 250 guests for functions at Gallery13.  The maximum seating for a specific event depends on the use of the spaces.  For example, Erin L. noted on Yelp that the site is very flexible. For her wedding, “we had dinner in the larger space, and dancing/drinks in the smaller space…”.

Gallery13 succeeds as a venue for many different kinds of events because it is so versatile and accommodating. The staff works seamlessly with outside vendors to help create exciting events. Rikki wrote on the WeddingWire that Gallery13 “did suggest vendors that have worked in their venue in the past and have been extremely helpful and supportive throughout the process.”  

Indeed, many clients are drawn to Gallery13 because the venue gives them the opportunity to use the space in their own unique way. As Erin L. wrote on Yelp, “the huge draw of this place is the flexibility! You can choose your own caterer and buy your own drinks…”.

The contemporary art exhibited all over Gallery13 serves as an inspiring backdrop for imaginative events.  The flexibility of the site allows clients to envision their own masterpiece and create a beautiful event.
