The Happy Gnome is locally owned bar and restaurant located in St. Paul, Minnesota. For over ten years, The Happy Gnome has been providing a great place to hold private celebrations. The upstairs dining area, The Firehouse Room, accommodates up to 80 people for a seated dinner. You can also use the space to kick your socks off and host a dance party. You can choose from the current banquet menu, or work with the Chef to make an exclusive menu with beer selections paired with your special meal. If you need the Firehouse Room for a meeting, there is a screen and audio system that are available for your needs.

Whether you are hosting a rehearsal dinner, a wedding reception, a private party, groom’s dinner, or a meeting, The Happy Gnome’s event manager will work with you to make the day perfect. The creative banquet menu offers a wide assortment of delicious food, ranging from braised short ribs and steaks to game hen to roasted salmon and seasonal risotto. You can select a buffet option that includes two entrees, two sides, and one salad, as well as large platters and canapes for large groups.

The dessert menu includes seasonal options as well as Vanilla Pound Cake, German Chocolate Torte, and Peanut Butter Jelly Beignets. Artisan cheese plates served with bread, crackers, balsamic reduction, dried fruits, and nuts include Manchego, Delice de Bourgogne, Bucheron and Fourme d’ Ambert. The Firehouse Room has a private bar that offers 56 craft beers and a full bar. You can choose from wine selections from all over the world and rotating seasonal beer selections on The Happy Gnome’s tap list. Scotch and whiskey are one of The Happy Gnome’s domains, offering over 250 varieties, from exceptional bourbons and ryes to aged single malts from Scotland and Ireland.
