Jax Cafe

Jax Cafe

Located in Northern Minneapolis, the Jax Café seeks to provide not just a meal, but a dining experience. From hors d’oeuvres, warm or cold, served butler style to a live action chef creating your meal in front of you, Jax staff seeks to inspire warmth and comfort at any budget.  The menu is extensive, and there are gluten-free and vegetarian options available as well.  Touches of old-world enhance the encounter with items such as pierogi and sausage.  If you’re considering choosing this venue, stop in and check out their Sunday brunch, or even lunch or dinner.

Three generations of Kozlach family have run the Jax Café, and the family and staff are dedicated to bringing you traditional comforts and unforgettable memories.  Before you leave, be sure to check out the gardens and waterfall that are lovingly tended to.  You’re also invited to see the kitchen; cleanliness and care are used to prepare your meal.

Five rooms are available to host your private event.  The Cosmopolitan room is the largest, seating 300 guests, two bars, a dance floor, wireless Internet, and a PA system.  The Round Table room is exactly as it suggests, seating up to 60 guests at round tables.  Round Table Room also features a bar, fireplace and wireless Internet.  The Celtic room features a fireplace and wireless Internet as well.  This room is smaller and designed for 45 guests.

The University room and Garden room are for more intimate settings, and neither of these rooms has wireless Internet.  The University room has one long table and can seat 32 guests.  Stained glass windows and chandelier give the air of hosting extended family over for a holiday.  The Garden room overlooks the Old World Garden and features a piano.  Up to 32 guests may enjoy this room and the addition of live music.
