Lake Elmo Inn Event Center

Does your idea of the perfect party include indulging in award-winning food and sinfully delicious desserts in a warm and welcoming environment?  Since its opening in 2006, savvy clients have chosen the Lake Elmo Inn Event Center for its mix of spectacular food in an intimate country setting.

The key to the success of the Lake Elmo Inn Event Center is the primacy of the culinary experience.  Chef John Schiltz, one of the owners of the Lake Elmo Inn Event Center, is an award-winning chef who strives to create memorable, traditional meals using the freshest locally grown ingredients where possible.  Chef Schiltz has assembled a team of expert chefs that maintain the high standards that guests expect from Lake Elmo Inn Event Center.  The staff includes a dedicated pastry chef who creates the most decadent desserts with fun names, such as the all-time favorite, Sin of the Inn.

Lake Elmo Inn Event Center, created in 2006, is a spin-off from the Lake Elmo Inn Restaurant.  Owners John and Christine Schiltz bought the Lake Elmo Inn Restaurant in 1983 and established its reputation as a destination restaurant.  They decided to open the Lake Elmo Inn Event Center as a place for people to celebrate the memorable occasions of life.

Catering Manager, Christine Schiltz, eagerly helps to plan wedding receptions, meetings, and parties.  The facility can host up to 300 people for full-service dining.  Unlike many banquet facilities, Lake Elmo Inn Event Center serves exceptional restaurant caliber food at all functions.  Experienced staff delivers all the details, including a full bar, which creates marvelous memories.  The personal service leads to happy results as a reviewer on WeddingWire noted: “(the staff is) the most professional, flexible, easy-to-work-with caterers in the Twin Cities.  Hands down the best food around, but the service is what brings the Lake Elmo Inn to the top.”

Finally, Lake Elmo Inn Event Center knows that feeding exquisite food also feeds the spirit.  The owners, chefs, and staff all work together to make sure to honor and celebrate each event.
