Stout’s Island Lodge is a beautiful old lodge that was built in 1903 as a summer estate on an 18-acre island in the middle of Red Cedar Lake, Wisconsin. Today it is still a rustic paradise that boasts stunning scenery and is a worry-free option for your most memorable moments. Weddings

Choose from a selection of private event spaces for small groups of 10 to large tented ceremonies holding up to 175. There are 43 guestrooms on the island, making it an ideal spot for you and your guests to stay. You can choose your ceremony to be on the South Lawn with a view of Red Cedar Lake, or even move your wedding inside to experience the barrel-vaulted ceilings and wood fireplace in the former Stout Master Bedroom. You can choose to have the island to yourself and your guests, or you can hold a smaller ceremony in several of the available event rooms of the main Lodge.

Corporate Retreats & Meetings

If you are interested in a corporate retreat, Stout’s Island Lodge offers you a fantastic setting for being productive. Located only two hours from the Twin Cities, Stout’s has what you’re looking for to get the job done. Your guests can arrive together and take a private ferry or arrive as they can and take the scheduled ferry service. Meeting equipment includes flip charts, projectors, screens, sound equipment, WiFi, and more.

Fun

Stout’s Island Lodge offers plenty of team building activities, including scavenger hunts, your version of Amazing Race, and a cowboy rodeo complete with six different stations. There are also plenty of activities for you and your guests to enjoy while staying at the Lodge, including croquet, tennis, bocce ball, hiking trails, a swim dock, water boats, billiards, ping pong, and a Great Room filled with board games. Boat tours, private wine and paint sessions, golf, and guided fishing experiences are available for all guests to enjoy as well.

Food

Work with the Stout’s Island Lodge Chef to plan the food and beverages for your event. Choose from banquet menus or customize them to meet your needs. The staff prides themselves on the fresh, upscale food that is often locally sourced or island-grown. Choose from buffets or plated meals to meet the needs of your group.
