Summit Manor Reception House

Summit Manor Reception House

Built-in 1901 by a prominent dry goods merchant, the Summit Manor Reception House combines the beauty of old-world charm and dark woodwork with the modern amenities of a large commercial kitchen, wifi, and air conditioning. The spacious foyer, elegantly carved staircase, and historically beautiful parlor blend to create the perfect backdrop for any event you desire. The original parquet floors will be a lovely base for your party.

The Summit Manor genuinely wants you to sit back and enjoy your event, and they will ensure no detail is overlooked. Soak in the experience by appreciating the oriental rugs, ornate woodwork, and natural light flooding in through the amazing windows.

The Manor House has hosted weddings, receptions, Christmas parties, anniversary parties, and more. Since they specialize in catering to your exact desires, your day will be precisely what you imagine. When you rent the Summit Manor, all public areas of the home will be yours for your special day, including the beautifully manicured grounds. The all-inclusive charge indeed includes everything you need for your special day. Beautiful silver service, antique china, glassware, tables, linens and gorgeous centerpieces are all a part of the package. There are no hidden fees – specifically no ceremony, set up, or cake cutting fees.

The high quality, professionally catered buffet includes mouthwatering selections including mushroom artichoke lasagna, champagne chicken, garlic mashed potatoes, Minnesota wild rice, green beans almondine, Caesar salad, cheesecake, tortes, and so much more.

If you wish to offer alcohol to your guests, you’re more than welcome to provide your own, along with a professional bartender, but kegs and shots aren’t allowed. Keep in mind that you will need to procure a liquor liability license through your agent, or the Summit Manor can provide you a list of agents with which you can work.

To give your event a unique feel, there is an internal music system, and the manor can provide background music as well. If you’d like to hire a DJ or band instead, you may choose from a list of approved vendors. Lights, light shows, and fog machines are not allowed, and the space cannot hold more than three musicians.
