Established in 1899, The Depot Minneapolis is located in the heart of downtown. Originally built as a railroad depot, the Depot retains an astounding history. Designed by architect Charles Frost in the Renaissance Revival style, The Depot exudes elegance and detail. The building incorporated the finest finishes from the white marble slab floor with black marble borders, cream, and brown enameled brick, and the beautiful Oak paneled ceiling. Though the last train left The Depot in 1971, The Depot still retains its roots as a sophisticated train depot.

Recently, The Depot and surrounding structures were renovated to make what stands today- The Depot Minneapolis. The Depot is unique in that it is the only historic event venue in Minneapolis of its size. With more than 60,000 square feet of meeting and event space, The Depot Minneapolis can cater to an event of any size. Renovated with modern technology, exquisite décor, and timeless surroundings, The Depot is a great option for any event.

The Depot Pavilion, offering an expansive 16,000 square feet of event space, is stunning with its soaring paneled ceilings, timeless décor, and elegant chandeliers. The Depot Pavilion can comfortably seat up to 1500 guests.

The Great Hall, a grand ballroom with all the pomp and circumstance of the Gilded Age, is The Depot’s premier event space. With unique arched walls, timeless architecture, and crystal chandeliers, the Great Hall is a stunning area.
