What began as a demolition discovery, the Little Log House: Pioneer Village turned into a salvage and restore project after log beams dated from 1856-1857 were uncovered. Salvaging the beams and what was once a log cabin, the proprietors of the Little Log House relocated the architectural discovery of the log cabin to the current property. Located in Hastings, Minnesota, what began as a salvage project in 1987 has turned into a village consisting forty-five restored buildings, a 40,000-square foot garden, and a replica of the Hastings Bridge. The Little Log House: Pioneer Village is now an event experience.

The Historic St. Boniface Church, literally rebuilt brick by brick (all 40,000) is an elegant and intimate venue. Retaining all the intricate details from when St. Boniface was originally erected in the late 1800’s. Immaculate stain glass windows and charming church pews; the St. Boniface Church can comfortably seat 215 guests.

Outdoor venues at Little Log House: Pioneer Village include the majestic Sylvia’s Garden. Lined with row after magnificent row of beautiful blooms, Sylvia’s garden is bursting with over 1,000 florae. Meandering brick paths, two large ponds, and a historic water wheel complete the experience of this spectacular venue.
