In the sloping hillsides between Lake Ellen, Green Lake and Lake Martha resides Winehaven.  As the name suggests, Winehaven is a winery and vineyard on 50 acres of land in Chisago County. Winner of Wedding Wire’s Couple’s Choice for 2017, Winehaven is eager to welcome you and your guests as a family into their home.

Taylor is Winehaven’s event planner.  Whether you are hosting a few dozen clients or 250 out of town guests, she looks forward to showing you all the options Winehaven has to offer.  Located just mere miles from lodging and activities, Winehaven has everything you need to make the day extraordinary. While at Winehaven, explore the vineyard as the Peterson’s share with you about their craft.  Troy will be more than happy to walk you through tastes of their award-winning wines.  Kyle will explain the process of making wine, right down to the importance of soil quality.  Kevin will share his enthusiasm (and mead) for honey while Cheri will ensure that your special event is coordinated and executed without worry.

Of course, no trip to Winehaven would be complete without a tour of the wine offerings. Tastings are just $5 per person and include up to six samples of wines.  Whites, reds, blushes and of course, the award winning mead are all present.  Other locally grown fruits mingle perfectly with the grapes grown at Winehaven.  You will find many award-winning wines in the tasting room, including the Nokomish, a wine made from a grape variety developed by Kevin and Kyle Peterson.  Wine club memberships are available with four shipments a year.
