Incorporating Live Musicians into Your Wedding Ceremony Music
String group performances have the unique power to transform a wedding ceremony…
Alex and Morgan were an absolutely great couple with high class and great taste. They had a unique wedding with many memorable moments. In this recap, we are going to give you a glimpse into their special night.
First, it all started with a ceremony hosted on the Afton Alps Golf Course. This venue has a gorgeous ceremony location on the top of a hill overlooking a large parcel of trees down below. A few quick things we loved about this ceremony was not only the location but all the work that went into it to make it so memorable. This couple had lanterns on both sides of the path leading up to the ceremony and a wonderfully decorated wedding arch handmade by Morgan’s father. In addition, we here at Adagio provided a sound system with wireless microphones and a special acoustic set up for an outside singer that came in to perform during the ceremony.
After the ceremony, it was time to pack up and head to the reception hall located in the chalet of the ski resort. This large and spacious room had plenty of space to fit all of Alex and Morgan’s guest. There was a great few outside the large glass windows overlooking the sunset as it fell over the horizon of the grassy ski resort hill. Once everyone made their way to the reception hall, it was time for some cocktail music and drinks while the couple went to take sunset photos. After the photos were taken, everyone was ready for the grand entrance and to start eating. Food was served by the in-house catering company provided by Afton Alps.
After the grand entrance was completed and people got a chance to get their food, everyone was ready for the speeches. A lot of people got a chance to talk include the maid of honor, best man, and fathers of the bride and groom. Of course, at a wedding like this, there is nothing better than a good belly laugh after you’ve eaten a large meal. The speeches were hilarious and left people with a night they would never want to forget. Another thing this couple did was take up a donation for every time they kissed for the glass clinking tradition so many of us know. Its a true testament to this couples hearts that they are truly a giving couple.
Once the speeches were done, this couple was ready to hit the dance floor and get their people moving! First, we started out the dance with their first dance song which was a classic that many of us know and love, “Your Song” by Elton John.
After the first dance was completed, Morgan and her dad were ready to start their father-daughter dance. The song they chose for this was “Yellow” by Coldplay.
Finally, we ended our special dances with the mother-son dance which was “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac
Once we finished all of the special dances, it was finally time to dance!
We want to give a very special thanks to Amy Elaine Photography for providing all the wonderful photos and capturing the night. She truly is an artistic woman and gifted photographer.
