Online platforms tend to be more casual than more traditional modes of communication. Many brides will inevitably use their wedding websites like they use social media. 

It can be hard to maintain a level of sophistication and grace online; especially when you are trying to bridge the gap between generations while marrying technology and social media.

2. The tendency to overshare

To follow the first point, you may find yourself tempted to use your wedding website as an extension of your Instagram or Snapchat feed. Avoid the tendency to overshare and stick to only the essential and relevant information

Don’t tell your guests what to wear or even how to act. You may want to, but you can’t control what your guests do or wear at your wedding. If you try, you may have to deal with bruised egos and raised tempers.
